In 2009 while working as a massage therapist at SportsLab I started treating a professional MMA fighter Jon Leven. Upon hearing of my wrestling background, he asked me to help him improve his wrestling skills and I was more than happy to help. At the time Jon was preparing for a fight in Rize 1, when, unexpectedly, they were one fighter short. Jon asked me to fill in and I took the fight on a three day notice and won the fight purely as a wrestler. Even though my next two fights were less successful I realised that win or lose I love to compete in MMA. I decided to begin training full time. It was a big decision, but I had to make it, I decided to leave my full time job, and invest into myself to travel the world and train with the best.
